ZipLine is the current Iron Pony in Ponyville. He's extremely courageous, but most of the time it ends up getting him into dangerous situations, just like when he was a young colt. 

When he was young, ZipLine and his best friend Butterscotch were exploring the EverFree Forest with Butterscotch's older sister, Sweet Apple. As they were exploring, they were attacked by a TimberWolf. Sweet Apple was cornered when suddenly, the two young colts lept in front of her, taking the hits for her. Butterscotch came out with a torn ear and ZipLine managed to get the side of his neck cut open. Sweet Apple was to traumatized to move and Butterscoth was in a daze, so ZipLine grabbed them both and flew them back to the cottage were all 3 ponies received medical attention. It was only then that he realized that he got his cutie mark, his ability to rescue ponies. His Star Grade flying ability.

Ever since that day, ZipLine has been treated like a hero by his friends. Even the Mayor recognizes his heroic behavior from time to time. It has been his mission ever since that day to make sure everypony in Equestria and beyond stay save and un-harmed by evil do-ers.
